In 2022 I went on a painting retreat to Alice Springs with other artists.
We each dispersed to contemplate our position, our thoughts and the feeling within this sacred landscape.
These were once horizontal layers of sandstone, the earth thrust these up to their now vertical, stately state.
Upon my return home, this is what I worked up in the studio from the sketches we created within the landscape.
